Sandeep Kumar Aniyan is an experienced Engineering Leader with over 12 years of experience in building products and teams on Android and iOS platforms. Currently, he is the Assistant Vice President at IndiaMART InterMESH Limited, where he is leading the Android team and managing a team of 20 Developers, Lead & senior developers. As a member of the Technical core committee at IndiaMART, Sandeep is well-versed in influencing data-driven technical, operational, and process changes to achieve excellence. He has Android app development experience in Kotlin, Java, and Kotlin Multi-Platform and has also managed the iOS team, which develops apps in Swift. Sandeep has individually developed and manages his own Android app about Delhi Public Transport, which has over 15 lakh downloads with a 4.5 rating on the Play store. He is an expert in defining career growth paths and personal development plans for all engineers/lead engineers and ensuring app availability 24x7. Sandeep has designed a framework for monitoring app tech vital performance metrics and critical business KPIs with the right alerts mechanism. He is responsible for hiring new members and retaining the best talent in the team, managing stakeholders, and driving things to conclusion and implementations. Sandeep is consistently doing new PoC/R&D to help the business grow by using the latest tech and has set up a framework to explore new things and adapt them in practice to benefit the organization and team members.
